“PURE FUEL3” Protects Tanks and Engines while Lowering Fuel Consumption and Exhaust Temperatures

Pure Fuel Technology announces the release of a range of revolutionary sterilisation units that effectively control microbial contamination in diesel without the use of harmful biocides or additives. 

A study by the University of Auckland has shown impressive results on the efficacy of the unit.The PURE FUEL 3 (Pure Fuel Cube) circulates diesel in the tank or storage unit; drying, cleaning and sterilising the fuel systematically.  Working with an advanced combination of magnetic force and Ultra Violet light, any yeast, fungi and bacteria is killed in the process leaving a dry and clean fuel.  

The University of Auckland recently ran a series of engine and biological tests with “dirty” diesel and diesel processed by a PURE FUEL 3. The original fuel was a classified “D Grade” under the Lloyd’s Register of classification, and after a day of cleaning was re-classified to an “A Grade”. Cleaner and dryer diesel adds to the longevity of tanks, filters and injectors. Furthermore, testing at the University showed improved combustion with around 3.5% lower fuel consumption between the two fuel samples and 30 - 40 degree lower exhaust temperatures.  

The PURE FUEL 3 is available in a range of sizes depending on individual craft and tank size, with options for basic-on off to fully programmable automation. Units can be plumbed into new-build boats, retro-fitted, or brought on board as a mobile cleaning solution. The PURE FUEL 3 is to be officially released at the Auckland International Boat Show next month.
