First Nexus equipped M34 launched for the 2011 "Tour de France à la Voile"

m34The first of the M34 class built by Archambault and designed by Joubert - Nivelt which are to replace the Farr 30' in the 2011 "Tour de france à la Voile"  was launched in Dunkerque on the weekend.  Nexus Marine are proud to have been chosen as the exclusive supplier of electonics for this yacht.  The new fleet will be equipped with the Nexus NXR system incorporating the newly released Nexus XL20 a large digit repeater designed for mast or bulk head mounting on yachts.

The feedback on the new design so far has been very positive  as quoted from William Borel, director of "the Tour" and Cyrille Legloahec, the "Batistyl / Ville de Pornic" skipper did not hidded their joy!
The boat gave us a high feeling of power, speed, really smoothy and reliable...
Sailing downwind 130/140°, 17 knots of wind, speedo came easily to 15 and more giving a good  idea of her real potential.

We look forward to the launch of the next boat which will be 'Nexus Dean Barker Team'.  We will get photos as soon as we have them.
