Nexus Marine is a leading manufacturer of navigation instrumentation for racing and cruising yachts. Formed in September 2006 out of the manufacturing arm of Silva Group, Nexus brings with it seventy years of experience in the design and manufacture of precision navigation instruments, and continues to uphold that heritage with a product range that combines the very latest in technology and styling. In early 2009 Richard Macalister and Dean Baker acquired a majority shareolding in Nexus Marine and are working to further strenghten the range of products available. Based in North Stockholm in Sweden the company exports around the world via a network of distributors.
As part of the company ethos of 'passion for performance' Nexus maintains a pro-active research programme to ensure that its systems continue to be leaders in their categories and that the brand retains its position as a respected driver in sail racing.
Nexus Marine is sponsoring the Nexus Gold Cup Inshore series 2009-2010.
