PF+ Protects Engines and Improves Combustion

PURE FUEL TECHNOLOGY Ltd has announced the release of a break-through new range of products that provide several unique solutions to combat microbial contamination in diesel fuel. The first product in the range, the “PF+”, is an in-line Magnetic Device that fits into your fuel line between tank and filter, protecting your engine.

When fuel passes through the PF+ it is exposed to a strong magnetic force via two opposing magnets. The cell walls of any microbes carried in the diesel are disrupted, effectively separating them from each other and allowing them to pass through the filtration media to be burnt via the combustion process.

The process has been proven to reduce filter blockages and wear to fuel pumps and injectors.  This “disruption” also puts any microbes returned to the tank in a void state thereby making them “dormant” and unable to grow, divide and colonise in the tank for a period of time. A recently commissioned report by the University of Auckland also showed very positive results in the PF+ reducing fuel consumption and retaining engine power when biologically contaminated fuel is present.

The design of the unit is such that it can be installed at any angle, and unlike many competitor products there is no sump that may allow moisture to collect and build up.  The PF+ is made from anodised aluminium and comes in a range of sizes to suit your fuel system from 3/8” through to 1” BSP.
